Clinics & Services
For convenience, we do not run a formal asthma clinic, you can simply book an appointment with one of our nursing team, Mary-Anne Osborne, Ruth Tossell or Valerie Gilbert, at a time of your choice. Please let the reception team know you are booking an asthma review.
We will invite you once a year to have a diabetic check. These can be booked with Mary-Anne Osborne or Ruth Tossell. Before you come for this check you should have blood tests so that we can see how things are going. You need to see your GP at least once a year for a medication review.
Chronic Disease Reviews
Most chronic illness is looked after by our nursing team. Although you can see anyone, our nursing team have their own areas of interest and we encourage people to try and choose a nurse who takes a particular interest in their illness.
- Asthma - Ruth Tossell, Mary-Anne Osborne or Valerie Gilbert
- COPD - Ruth Tossell, Mary-Anne Osborne or Valerie Gilbert
- Diabetes - Ruth Tossell, Mary-Anne Osborne
We offer vaccinations via our nursing team including flu, pneumococcal, hepatitis B and tetanus. More information on vaccines can be found by clicking here.
In order to give you flexibility, we do not run a set clinic. Please note that we need sufficient notice to arrange your immunisations and we cannot be held responsible for problems or difficulties arising from late bookings. We are an approved Yellow Fever Centre. We offer this to our registered patients and also to patients registered with a GP elsewhere. More information is available on the above tab.
We are able to offer audiometry in the surgery for those assessed as requiring it. We also offer a syringing service, although in general it is not recommended, and we will always request you soften the wax for 2 weeks using olive oil or another product first.
